Thoughts on the Animal Situation
Animal cruelty is a world epidemic so widespread and vast in scope that one may feel there’s no point in even trying to help. But of course, as with all overwhelming realities, every small effort is necessary and significant.
The unimaginable suffering is endless and occurring as you read this so I suggest, assuming you are moved to act, that you contact any or many of the mentioned organizations to learn how you can help.
As some of you know, I’ve been involved with The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) for many years and can recommend that you contact this invaluable organization. But it would be best if you closely examine the list of issues (a very small sampling) I've posted as well as the various organizations to see what best suits you.
